Claude model & thinking

Configure the Claude model and reasoning settings used for all tasks.

Model
Which Claude model to use for all tasks. Leave as Default to let the SDK choose.
Thinking mode
Extended thinking lets Claude reason before responding. Adaptive is recommended.
Thinking token budget
Only used when Thinking mode is set to "Enabled with budget" (legacy).
Effort level
Controls thinking depth and token spend. Higher effort = better results, more tokens. Only applies when thinking is enabled.
Permission mode
Bypass permissions is required for code-writing tasks (Implement / Index).
